Anxious search for missing Blackburn dog
Have you seen this dog? This is Fern and she has gone missing from Blackburn.
The 18-month-old Patterdale terrier cross disappeared at around 4pm on Sunday, January 21 from a garden in Rowan Drive and her owner is distraught.
Hayleigh Kefferty is anxious for her beloved pet’s safe return and urged people to keep an eye out.
She said: “Fern is a very friendly dog but does not know the Blackburn area so I feel she may not approach anyone.
“She will be getting very hungry now and is desperately wanted back home.
“She is a really friendly dog but by now I think she might be extremely scared and wanting to hide.
“My boyfriend had her in his friend’s garden and just went into the house for five minutes but when he came back out she was gone.”
Fern is described as dark brown and might look black from a distance.
She has a full tail and was not wearing an ID tag.
